money advice

Who - step forward money advice is a Christian organisation, open to anyone. It's run by Trent Vineyard in Nottingham and affiliated to the national debt charity Community Money Advice (CMA).

What - We offer free, confidential debt advice and money management support.

Where - We are based on Lenton Lane in the Trent Compassion building and we are in the process of opening up a number of satellite centres in various locations across Nottingham.

Why - Our goal is to empower those we work with, to better control their finances.

How - We offer money management training courses as well as meet with individuals to review their budgets and negotiate repayments to creditors.

employability

Who - We are an employability training programme for individuals who are seeking training, education or employment.

What - We facilitate life skills workshops, employment training as well as offer coaching sessions both in 1-2-1 and group settings.

Where - We are based on Lenton Lane in The Arches building and we are in the process of running a number of satellite workshops in various locations across the city.

Why - We are passionate about enabling people to re-enter work, or for those who have never worked or not worked for many years, to become employable.

How - After an initial conversation, we will interview the participants and assess their suitability for the programme. They will then be expected to attend various workshops, coaching and mentoring sessions.
