Students

WELCOME
Welcome to the student section of the website. If you’re new to Trent Vineyard then you’ll be able to find out a bit about who we are and what we get up to from browsing around the site, but feel free to call us at the office if you have any other questions.

Students form a crucial part of the life of this church. When John and Debby started Trent Vineyard they outlined their heart for the emerging generation. They wanted to create a church where young people could feel accepted and could worship God.
At Trent we have a team dedicated to students. We want to make it as easy as possible for you to get involved and feel at home here. We put on a number of events throughout the year specifically for students including our all student 'Chase' events our student weekend away, as well as having a number of student small groups, but our heart is to facilitate you guys with the things that excite you whether its club outreach or serving the poor in your area.

LOVE YOUR UNI
![]()
Love your Uni is an initiative to help students to love their University through the works, words and wonders of the Kingdom of God.
Through works we find practical needs in the student community and meet them, serving our fellow students by cleaning up after hall parties, giving out water to students outside nightclubs, serving tea and coffee to students heading to early lectures and serving the universities through the year both on and off-campus.

Through words we readily provide an explanation for our acts of service, developing relationships with students and sharing with them the person of jesus and the hope that we have through him.

Through wonders we demonstrate God's love for those who don't know him in the power of the Holy Spirit. For example, praying for the sick and speaking words of love and encouragement.

PRAYER
We place a high value on prayer because without it, our efforts our futile. We want to spend time seeking God and crying out for our friends at University. Watch this space for details on when, where and how we’ll be praying this term:
Weekly Prayer Meetings
Weekdays for an hour - further details coming soon. Fancy hosting one on your campus or in your house? Let us know!
Half nights of prayer
These happen once or twice a term and provide space for students to pray together creatively for their coursemates, friends and universities. 10pm - 2am after Chase.
